Hart Brothers opgericht in de late 19e eeuw in Paisley onder de rook van Glasgow. In 1964 begonnen de broers Iain en Donald Hart er een wijn- en drankhandel van te maken. Alistair voegde zich in 1975 bij het duo als chief blender. Na zorgvuldige selectie worden de mooiste vaten aan het assortiment toegevoegd.
