Terwijl de 4K-breedhoekcamera het grote geheel vastlegt, zoomt de 2K-telephotolens vier keer optisch in op wat verderop gebeurt, van kentekenplaten tot kleine details in het verkeer. Daarnaast legt de 1080p achtercamera vast wat er achter de auto egebeurt. Drie Sony STARVIS 2-sensors en HDR-beeldverwerking zorgen voor loepzuivere opnames, zelfs bij tegenlicht of in het donker. Voeg daar snelle 5 GHz-wifi en spraakbediening aan toe en je krijgt een dashcam die niet alleen alles ziet, maar ook met je meedenkt.

Dubbele blik op de weg

De voorcamera filmt in True 4K met een 8 MP-sensor en een diafragma van f/1,8. De telephotocamera gebruikt een 5 MP-sensor met f/2,0 en een kijkhoek van 35 graden. Door de vier keer optische zoom vergroot je verafgelegen details zonder kwaliteitsverlies. Samen geven de twee lenzen een volledig beeld van de weg, van overzicht tot close-up.

Scherp beeld, dichtbij en veraf

Alle drie camera’s gebruiken Sony STARVIS 2-sensors, de IMX678 aan de voorkant en de IMX675 voor de telephotolens. Dankzij de sensorformaten vangt de A229 Pro Tele 3CH meer licht en blijft ruis tot een minimum beperkt. HDR balanceert verschillen in belichting, zodat kentekens, borden en wegmarkeringen scherp en leesbaar blijven, ook bij tegenlicht of in het donker. Waar een groothoek vooral overzicht biedt, zoomt de telephotolens juist in op wat verderop gebeurt. Zo leg je inhaalacties of voertuigen op afstand haarscherp vast, ideaal voor als je voor je werk vaak op de weg zit en elk detail wilt kunnen terugzien.

Slim en snel in gebruik

De ingebouwde 5 GHz-wifi zorgt voor razendsnelle overdracht van beeldmateriaal. Video’s zijn in enkele seconden te bekijken, te downloaden of te delen via de VIOFO-app. Voor nog snellere updates kun je je smartphone direct aansluiten via USB-C. De dashcam ondersteunt spraakbediening in meerdere talen, zodat je met eenvoudige commando’s kunt opnemen, foto’s kunt maken of de wifi kunt uitschakelen.

Altijd paraat, ook bij parkeren

Met een optionele hardwire-kit (HK4 of HK6) schakelt de A229 Pro Tele 3CH automatisch over op de parkeermodus. Je kunt kiezen uit timelapse, low-bitrate of automatische gebeurtenisdetectie. Dankzij Super Night Vision blijven nachtelijke opnames helder en contrastrijk, ideaal bij parkeerschade of vandalisme.

Slimme functies en uitbreidingen

De Quad-Mode GPS gebruikt GPS, BeiDou, Galileo en GLONASS voor nauwkeurige positiebepaling. In de VIOFO-app zie je snelheid, route en tijd terug, handig voor verzekeringskwesties of fleetbeheer. Daarnaast zorgen een CPL-filter, G-sensor en optionele bluetoothafstandsbediening voor extra veiligheid en gebruiksgemak.

Broke the first day
I purchased the owl ball because of other dog chew toys I purchased from Amazon. Those other chew toys are still holding together. The main reason I got the owl ball is due to the different noises it makes other than the regular squeak noise. After giving the toy to my dog he loved it right away. He especially liked the noise it made. After a few hours, I noticed he was chewing a white tube-like device. I took this away from him and determined it was the noise maker in the owl ball. I examined the owl ball and noticed the glue used to keep the ball cap shut did not hold. On closer inspection, I noticed what looked like rubber cement was used to hold the cap on but if it was rubber cement it was used improperly. Anyway, I just reglued the cap correctly and now it's just a ball because my dog destroyed the noise maker. OK, Since I posted this review I was contacted by the seller. They offered to give me a full refund for the owl ball. I accepted the offer. So, I will try it again, but buy a different color owl this time. I never expected a refund since it's just a ball now, my dog still plays with it and it is holding up very well. The material it is made from is pretty sturdy.

Squeaker not working!

I'll give it 3 stars because I love the design and it's sturdy and great for dogs to hold/launch. That said, the squeaker doesn't really work... I tried everything but it just doesn't make any sound. My dog wasn't really interested but when it did make a slight sound he approached it. Once it stopped he lost interest. But he's very difficult to please😆 so if you have a normal dog, he'll probably like it! I hope the manufacturer fixes the squeaker issue because apparently many people are having the same issue, which is a shame because the product is clearly well made! I'm on the fence about returning it just because the quality it's amazing(squeaker issue aside)!

Indestructible ball….Destroyed my dog’s goals

He respects the ball but will always come back for more until he feels that he has won All in all absolutely buy this for aggressive chews and toy playing dogs.
