De PanBlast™ QuikStop IIS pneumatische dodemansknop is een ergonomisch dodemansapparaat, waarmee een gebruiker de straalpijp veilig kan bedienen zonder een conventionele handgreep vast te moeten houden, waardoor vermoeidheid van de gebruiker wordt verminderd.

Dit is een dodemansknop met ontluchting (bleeder type). Bleeder-type dodemansknoppen in niet-geactiveerde toestand zorgen voor een constante ontluchting naar de atmosfeer en maken dan ook een sissend geluid. Het is belangrijk om rekening te houden met het feit dat opeenhoping van vuil en vet in de twinline-slang (dodemansbesturingslang) het ontluchtingsgat kan verstoppen en hierdoor de straalmachine wordt geactiveerd. Dodemansknoppen van het bleeder-type zijn daarom minder veilig in vergelijking met dodemansknoppen die geen ontluchting hebben in niet-geactiveerde toestand.
