Wij waren dan ook behoorlijk verrast dat de labels langzaam aan een nieuw uiterlijk gingen krijgen. Maar, ook nu is de herkenbaarheid weer optimaal voor deze mooie flessen!2015, een van de beste Portjaren ooit!
Regelmatig krijgen wij de vraag waarom een Vintage port zoveel anders is dan een andere port. Om te beginnen komen de druiven van een vintage port uit één uitzonderlijk oogstjaar. Gemiddeld kan een Vintage port dan ook slechts eens in de drie jaar worden gemaakt. De druiven die voor een vintage port worden gebruikt ondergaan een zeer strenge en handmatige selectie. Alleen de beste druiven komen in aanmerking voor deze bijzondere port. Een Vintage port waaronder dus ook deze Calem Vintage 2015 rijpen allemaal op de fles door in tegenstelling tot de andere portwijnen. Deze rijping op de fles kan tot wel tientallen jaren door gaan. Dit komt doordat de port ongefilterd de fles in gaat. Hierdoor ontstaat er wel een droesem onder in de fles waardoor de port soms wat troebel lijkt. Wanneer u een Vintage port dan ook wil gaan schenken is het raadzaam deze een dag van te voren recht op te zetten of kort voor gebruik te decanteren.Waarom Calem Vintage 2015 kopen?

Loving it so far!

I've only used this twice and I already love it. My main reason for buying it is for protein hot chocolate I drink twice a day. I previously made it at the stove and that took 13 minutes of constant mixing to reach 160°.
My hot chocolate is 1 cup of milk, 1 tbsp each cacao powder and panela (sugar), 1-2 tbsp collagen powder, vanilla extract, and 1 whole egg. I premix everything before pouring it into the frother because, while it may be able to handle the powders, there's no way that whisk will be able to break the whole egg enough to thoroughly blend it before it starts cooking. I'm totally fine premixing the night before and heating it in the morning. I made the first batch this morning with 2 cups of milk doubling only the cacao and sugar which brought it to just below the top max line, and it came out perfect. It was smooth and there was no burnt taste. I used the recommended hot chocolate attachments, lowest froth setting, and 160° temp setting. I had almost no froth in my hot chocolate which was perfect. I removed the pitcher as soon as it was done to prevent any burning. I checked the temp with a thermometer and the temp was actually 165°. I don't really know if that would impact the taste if there was less milk. For the 2 cups, it was still perfect.
I do wish there was a little more temp control like a 150° or 155° setting. I also wish it was able to give you the temp as it was heating in case you want to pull it off just before it hit the set temp. The bottom right button is superfluous. It helps with the foam setting, but you can also simply press each of those buttons directly.
Cleaning is super easy, just remove the pitcher and attachments. I love that the attachments are magnetic, but I recommend taking them out before pouring because the magnets aren't that strong. All in all, great for the price and perfect for my needs.

Works great with soy milk
Amazing steamer with high volume capacity. I can make large lattes. I love that it let's you choose your temperature. I use soy milk, and it works perfectly every time.
When using at max temp, only a tiny bit of soy milk gets a little burnt on the bottom, and it scrubs right off. Since the little whipping tool comes off on the inside, it cleans very easily. I love that the little whipping tool is magnetically attached, too. It's super easy to work with and very secure.
My 8 year old uses this all on her own without issue, which proves how easy it is.

Great frother choice!
I love this thing! As a former barista, this frother does a wonderful job! I've done hot and cold foam and they held up great! Used oat milk once and that did a great job foaming up! It can take a few minutes for the foam, so when I start my coffee, I start the foam, too. It's also dishwasher safe, which I love.

Burns On The Bottom
The chocolate setting takes forever. The milk burns in the same spot on the cup no matter how I try and rotate the cup during the heating process. I expected more from the reviews.
