De koning van de Moldavische wijn. Nobel, elegant en rijk, met interessante complexiteit. Het bouquet vol zoete, rijpe pruimen en vijgen, wat geroosterde hazelnoot, specerijen en saffraan. Een bom van smaak, sensueel, diep en fluweelzacht, met rijp fruit, chocolade, koffie en een verleidelijk lange afdronk. Nu al geweldig, maar dit kan nog vele jaren mee.

Het Moldavische Château Purcari werd opgericht in 1827. In 1878 werd hun rode topwijn op de wereldtentoonstelling in Parijs aangezien voor een echte Franse topwijn. De naam was gevestigd en Château Purcari werd één van de meest beroemde wijnen ter wereld. Legendarische personen zoals Tsaar Nicolaas II en Queen Victoria waren vaak geziene gasten op het landgoed. Tegenwoordig staat Purcari opnieuw bekend als beste wijnhuis van Moldavië en sleept het prijs na prijs in de wacht.
