Deze handgemaakte klankschaal uit Nepal nodigt uit tot een moment van verstilling. Met zorg is de schaal gegraveerd, onder andere met de mantra Om Mani Pad Me Hum, zowel aan de buiten- als binnenzijde. De klank is zuiver en rijk aan boventonen, waardoor je gemakkelijk ruimte kunt maken voor rust en aandacht tijdens jouw ritueel.

De schaal is gemaakt van koper, tin en acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn). Elke schaal is uniek, waardoor het design en de kleur kunnen afwijken van de foto. Omdat ze met de hand worden vervaardigd, kan de diameter variëren. Voor het bespelen van de klankschaal kun je de sticks apart bestellen.

Gehamerde klankschalen
Het maken van deze gehamerde klankschalen is een ambachtelijk proces dat volledig met de hand gebeurt. Elke schaal wordt zorgvuldig gevormd door hamerwerk in verschillende stadia. Eerst worden de metalen gesmolten – voornamelijk koper en tin (brons) met geringe hoeveelheden van zeven andere metalen – en in mallen gegoten. Daarna worden schijven gesneden, die met aandacht en precisie roodgloeiend gehamerd worden tot hun uiteindelijke komvorm. Het metaal blijft tijdens het hameren warm om scheuren te voorkomen. Na het vormen volgt een afwerkingsproces waarin de schalen van binnen en buiten fijn geschuurd, gepolijst en eventueel bewerkt worden, zodat elke klankschaal haar eigen vorm en klank krijgt.
