De Basil City is een modieuze dubbele fietstas met genoeg ruimte voor je boodschappen. Uitgevoerd in een mooie grijs gemêleerde kleur en geschikt voor bevestiging achterop je (elektrische) fiets. De Basil City dubbele fietstas past bij het uptempo van de city: werk, vrienden, uitgaan, naar de markt of het doen van boodschappen. De fietstas is compact, niet te groot maar toch ruim genoeg met een inhoud van 28 liter. Heb je net iets meer spullen bij je, dan vergroot je inhoud naar 32 liter. De vouwsluiting met klittenband kun je namelijk in hoogte instellen. Ook voorkomt de vouwsluiting inregenen. De tas in de kleur grijs is verder gemaakt van waterafstotend polyester. Aan veiligheid is ook gedacht, de tas is namelijk voorzien van reflectie op alle zijden en een bevestigingsmogelijkheid voor LED-verlichting. Heb je veel en zwaardere spullen in je tas? Dan kun je de tas combineren met de Basil Afstandhouder (apart verkrijgbaar). Deze houder voorkomt dat de tas in de spaken van je fiets komt. Je bevestigt de Basil City dubbele fietstas eenvoudig op je bagagedrager met het Universal Bridge systeem. Dankzij het Universal Bridge systeem kun je kiezen uit hoe je de tas wilt bevestigen. Het bevestigen kan met de voorgemonteerde riempjes. Of in combinatie met het Basil DBS systeem (afneembare bagagedragerplaten) of een adapterplaat zoals MIK. Good quality, if you keep them oiled last a long time
If you keep these oiled and do not soak them, these boards last a long time. Good variety of sizes, durable (I use the larger 2 daily), and again, if you keep them oiled, easy to wipe down and haven't shown a sign of splitting. Durable as well. Would buy again.

Better than thin plastic boards
I used to use one of those thin/bendable plastic cutting boards, thinking it's easier to transfer food into pots/pans from the board, but they tend to get bent in time and they're simply too thin and I hated the feeling of my knife pretty much hitting the kitchen counter.
So, I decided to buy this set. I wanted to try a wooden board, but didn't want to spend too much in case I didn't like it, and this set had the perfect price tag and I liked the fact it came with 4 different sizes, so that I can see what size would actually be more useful.
I've been using it for 2 months now they're doing great (except one of them started splitting a bit and started showing some strange black dots on the side... possibly mold??? though I can't think of any reason why mold would grow on just one of them. Maybe it's related to the fact that it's the only one that's cracking. And this is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.)
Anyway, apart from that one, the rest are doing well and having 3 boards is plenty.
I like the juice groove to avoid spilling liquid on the board, as it happened so many time using the bendable plastic boards.
I'm handwashing them with dish soap. They seem to dry pretty fast, and so far no stains etc. on the surface. They're not super duper thick so even the largest one is not too difficult to handle.
I sometimes use them to serve some food like appetizers, snacks, pizzas and sandwiches, etc. too!
