  • Hydrogeneratie; laadt de accu tijdens het zeilen of zeil sneller met een klapschroef. Tot 1,2 kW per uur bij 19 kilometer per uur.
  • Met kunststof deel dat aanpasbaar is aan de vorm en de hellingshoek van de romp. 
  • Stabiel staartstuk: net als de motorbehuizing van het meest hoogwaardige aluminium en beschermd met een anode. Beschermd tegen roest, zelfs zoutwater bestending en volledig waterdicht op het hoogste niveau IPx9K. Dat betekent onder hoge druk, hoge temperatuur en waterstralen van 14 – 16 L/min.
  • Extra robuust: bescherming tegen brokstukken, slijvast en onderhoudsvrij. 
  • Lagers die de schroefas steunen en beschermen tegen binnendringend vuil, vislijn etc. 
  • Speciaal ontworpen efficiënte schroef met anode op de as. 
  • Vergelijkbaar met een 20 pk (voortstuwingsvermogen) tot 30 pk (stuwkracht) brandstofmotor.
  • De motor is geschikt om boten van 5.400 tot 11.000 kilogram op kruissnelheid te brengen en boten van 1.900 tot 3.600 kilogram op rompsnelheid.
    Voor lichtere boten is de Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 FP 6.0 kW 48V leverbaar of de ePropulsion Pod Drive 6.0 Evo 6 kW.
    Voor zwaardere boten zijn 2 Cruise 12 FP motoren een geschikte optie. 
  • Overweeg ook 2x ePropulsion Pod Drive 6.0 Evo wat een voordeliger alternatief kan zijn.
  • Ruimtebesparend: De compacte motor hangt onder de boot, binnenin heb je alleen de accu en de lader. De combinatie weegt minder dan een saildrive.

  • Voordelen POD motor: pod-drives zijn direct aangedreven en onderhoudsvrije elektromotoren voor zeilboten en kleine vaartuigen. Ze zijn ruimtebesparend en maximaliseren uw cabineruimte.
    Verder bieden POD motoren een efficiëntiewinst van tussen de 15 en 30 procent in vergelijking met binnenboordmotoren. Omdat ze onder de waterlijn uitsteken en recht naar voren gericht zijn is er geen efficiëntie-afbrekende schachthoek, zoals bij binnenboordmotoren. Dat betekent dat de stuwkracht in een rechte lijn wordt gericht. Er is minder vermogen en dus verbruik nodig om een boot met dezelfde snelheid voort te stuwen in vergelijking met binnenboordmotoren.
  • Subsidie: elektrische bootmotoren en Lithium accu’s komen in aanmerking voor Milieu-investeringsaftrek en Willekeurige afschrijving milieu-investeringen voor vaartuigen die bedrijfsmatig worden ingezet. Het belastingvoordeel kan met de MIA\Vamil oplopen tot ruim 14% van het investeringsbedrag.

They were the exact style I was looking for minus the color. I was looked for a more black or black-wash stainless steel like the ones I have now. I returned it the next day so I didn't try it out or take pictures. In the future, though, I'm now more willing to pay more for better quality.
