In de werkplaats of bij een tankstation is vaak een compressor aanwezig.
Voor een zekere en eenvoudige montage zonder compressor brengt Schwalbe nu de Tire Booster uit, die in samenwerking met de Britse Start-up onderneming Airshot is ontwikkeld. Zo kan een luchtstoot tot elf bar in de band worden gepompt. Darmee ligt de band onmiddelijk en zeker op de velg en wordt alles gelijkmatig gedicht, zegt Peter Krischio. De Tire Booster biedt een wezenlijk voordeel bij Tubeless montage. Met slechts 435 gram kan je de Tire Booster tevens gemakkelijk meenemen.
Wie een nog grotere luchtdrukstoot nodig heeft, kan extra een speciale adapter gebruiken. Daarvoor wordt het ventiel verwijderd en wordt de adapter direct op de ventielschacht gedraaid, de luchtdruk wordt dan maximaal doorgevoerd.
En zo gaat het! De Tire Booster met een conventionele fietspomp via het SV-ventiel verbinden, de fles van druk voorzien en aansluitend het snelventiel monteren. Direct verdeelt de lucht zich gelijkmatig, en de banden zetten zich meestal met een luid en typisch knappend geluid vast op de velg.

Perfect Fit & Actually Glows!

We recently replaced our old Apple TV remote and decided to switch up the cover this time. We had a red one before, but chose the glow-in-the-dark lime green for this remote — and I’m so glad we did. It’s much easier to find in the dark now!
The case fits the new Apple TV Siri Remote perfectly and feels snug without being difficult to put on. The silicone material seems thick and durable, like it won’t tear or stretch out easily. The honeycomb texture also makes it less slippery, which is great since these remotes are so slim.
And yes — it really does glow in the dark! If you leave it near a window or under a light for a bit, it glows well enough to spot quickly at night.
Overall, it’s a simple but very practical upgrade that protects the remote and makes it easier to find.
