Make sure you buy the boots in the right size and put them on properly. If they are too small or if you fasten them too tight, there will be too much pressure on the tendon. Tried remanufactured and off brand cartridges and kept running into compatability issues with my Epson Work Force Pro WF-3820. These are more expensive-but they work. Have to take into consideration the fact that my printer is used for business and down time because my new cartridges aren't recognized by the printer costs $$$
