Candor Zijdeglanslak PU is een slijtvaste aflak op basis van een met PU versterkt alkydhars bindmiddel. Door de zeer goede vloeiing ontstaat een mooie zijdeglanzende afwerking. Candor Zijdeglans PU heeft een snelle droging ook bij lagere temperaturen.

Toepassing
Candor Zijdeglanslak PU wordt buiten en binnen toegepast als afwerking op ondergronden van hout, metaal, kunststof, etc. die voorzien zijn van een geschikte grondlak of hechtprimer. Op goed hechtende oude alkydhars verflagen kan Zijdeglans PU na voorbehandeling direct worden aangebracht.

Voorbehandeling
• Losse delen geheel verwijderen.
• Ondergrond reinigen/ontvetten met Azet Expo.
• Nawassen met schoon water.
• Kale delen 2 x gronden.
• Ondergrond mat schuren en stofvrij maken.

Verwerking
Candor Zijdeglanslak PU aanbrengen op een droge ondergrond. Vóór gebruik goed oproeren, na verbruik de verpakking goed sluiten. De ondergrond licht opschuren en stofvrij maken.

Technische gegevens
• Verwerkingsvoorwaarden: omgevingstemperatuur minimaal 10°C /R.V. < 80%, vochtgehalte in het hout < 18%
• Verdunning: evt. met 2% aromaat vrije terpentine
• Verwerkingsgereedschap: kwast – niet verdunnen, kortharige lakroller – niet verdunnen, airless-spuit – evt. 3 – 5 % verdunnen
• Rendement: ca 12 m² per liter
• Stofdroog: na 2 uur
• Overschilderbaar: na 24 uur

• Reiniging gereedschap: met terpentine direct na gebruik.
• Opslag: koel en droog
• Houdbaarheid: 2 jaar in ongeopende originele verpakking.
• Verpakking: 1 en 2,5 liter blikken
• Kleur: wit en vrijwel alle kleuren via het Azet kleurmengsysteem.
• Veiligheid: raadpleeg het veiligheidsinformatieblad van Candor Zijdeglanslak PU

Great insight on what happened at Blizzard but...

My main issue with the book is the lack of non-american stories that explained the bigger picture. As a former Blizzard dev, there's much more than what happened in Irvine and Korea, with Europe's office mentioned almost as a footnote, and nothing else from the other regional stories. Shame but I guess the book would've been double the size.

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources

Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)
