Crystallum Ferrum chardonnay 2023Deze chardonnay is afkomstig van n enkele wijngaard in Shaws Mountain, dicht bij de winery. Shaws Mountain licht net buiten de Hemel en Aarde vallei bij Hermanus. Met zijn iets lagere ligging en tevens dichtere ligging tegenover de Oceaan, toont deze chardonnay zicht iets strakker en rechtlijniger. De volle, rijke aanzet zindert zeer lang door tot in de finale met daartussen heel wat subtiliteit en finesse met retronasale aromas van gedroogde citroen,

Deze chardonnay is afkomstig van één enkele wijngaard in ‘Shaw’s Mountain’, dicht bij de winery. Shaw’s Mountain licht net buiten de Hemel-en-Aarde vallei bij Hermanus. Met zijn iets lagere ligging en tevens dichtere ligging tegenover de Oceaan, toont deze chardonnay zicht iets strakker en rechtlijniger. De volle, rijke aanzet zindert zeer lang door tot in de finale met daartussen heel wat subtiliteit en finesse met retronasale aroma’s van gedroogde citroen, verse pompelmoes, toast en gele appel. Deze chardonnay kreeg net als alle andere cuvées een natuurlijke vergisting in 300l en 500l, Franse eiken vaten, waarvan 20% nieuwe eik.
