Deze fruitvliegenval gebruikt speciaal ontworpen UV-golven om muggen, fruitvliegen, huisvliegen, motten en meer aan te trekken, waarna ze vastplakken en niet meer kunnen ontsnappen. Het blauwviolette licht kan ook dienstdoen als nachtlampje.

De val lokt insecten aan met licht zonder geluid en creëert een rustige slaapomgeving. Het licht schijnt richting de muur, zodat je geen last hebt van direct licht in de ogen.

Gebaseerd op het gedrag van insecten trekt de val diverse vliegende beestjes aan. Veilig in gebruik en onschadelijk voor huisdieren en kinderen.
