Diese Gegenlichtblende ist speziell für die Weitwinkel-Klassiker der Leica R-Serie konstruiert. Sie ersetzt die originale Blende Nr. 12509 und verhindert effektiv Blendenflecken (Lens Flare) sowie Kontrastverlust durch Streulicht. Gefertigt aus robustem technischem Kunststoff, bietet sie zudem einen physischen Schutz für die Frontlinse, ohne das Bildfeld abzuschatten.
