Where our Cement comes from.
The French and Catalans were the first to use the technique in the 1850's both in France and in Barcelona. The complex patterns used in the tiles are due to an interest in ancient cultures, most notably early Arab and Moorish art. As a result, the tiles spread throughout Europe as a high quality flooring material and then onto former European colonies in Latin America, North Africa, and Vietnam.
How Zia Tile manufactures our tile.
We make 12x12 Cement color Cements like our Terrazzo by hand, one at a time, using mineral pigments, cement, a mold, and a hydraulic press. Each of our Terrazzo 12x12 square tiles are unique and one of a kind, as tonal variation makes every tile subtly different from the next. The individual patterns are made by applying separate pigments, one by one, in a handmade copper mold. The process is incredibly delicate, requiring skilled artisans with years of experience.

Our Terrazzo 12x12
Cement tiles are not fired in a kiln because there is no glaze layer on the surface of the tile. Instead, each tile has a pigment layer that is 2-3 millimeters thick, resulting in a tile that is incredibly durable, lasting well over a century. Our tiles come in an endless array of patterns with 64 custom colors to choose from, from bold jewel tones, to monochromatic black and white.

Perfect for Traveling
I bought this last minute as I couldn't find my other power adaptor and I'm glad I did. I used it traveling around the Mediterranean and it was perfect. The "surge protector" design worked well. It has regular plug outlets as well as USB-B and USB-C connectors. W as able to charge my phone, iPad and watch at the same time. It stored easily in my suitcase and didn't take up too much space. I am very pleased with this product.

Perfect 220V Power Extender
Used this on a recent European trip and it worked perfectly, providing me with the extra outlets I needed to power my PC, multiple chargers and phones. European pin connection with US outlets and USBs. If you are planning to go to a country with 220V, don't expect to use a 110V extender with a plug connector - it may well burn out (though most electronics will work fine when connected to 220 via their chargers and power supplies). This one is compact and easy to pack. I have a larger 220v strip purchased for another trip and this one will be traveling with me from now on due to its compact size and lower weight.

Absolutely great for travel but not enough wattage to charge a macbook without the macbook brick.
So this thing is absolutely amazing for travel. The extension cord is a great length. The usb ports are secure and snug and it really works very well, it's by FAR my favorite adapter to travel with. I do have one nitpick - the photos clearly show it charging a macbook and yes, it can but not with a straight cable you still need to plug in the macbook power brick to it. I was hoping to avoid that but this adapter does not have enough wattage to charge a macbook without the brick. I included two photos showing the difference in wattage between this and an macbook power brick.

Great for use in Italy!
We spent 3 weeks in Italy in May of 2023. This was so easy to use for making sure all of our cell phones and power bricks were fully charged for the next day of discovery while in Italy. Plugged in effortlessly everywhere we stayed in Italy. We used all the charging ports and the USA outlets for two dual voltage power packs (remember the Italian grid is 240VAC not 120VAC like in USA) and my dual voltage CPAP power brick. No problems any where - it worked flawlessly. I would not suggest using it for curling irons or blow dryers or any very high wattage devices and anything you plug into it that does not say dual voltage on the device may be destroyed and possible catch fire! So do be aware of what you use with it as it does not drop the voltage to 120VAC from the 240VAC Italian wall outlets. Nice feature is that it comes with an adapter you can use when you get back to USA so you can use it at home till you pack your bags for the next trip!

Worked as expected, lots of USB ports.
Just used on my trip to Paris, worked well and I liked having so many USB ports. The long cord was great because my hotel was rather vintage and the outlets weren't in convenient places. Glad to see it will also work for my next trip. I appreciated that it came with adapters for the US also so I could test it at home before I left.
