So why the low list price? I would normally have listed these at around $45 - $55.
One of the stretch bands on either side of the gills around the ankle have opened up either on purpose or over time. I'm guessing on purpose just to allow for more comfort and flexibility. This is only noticeable when the shoe is being put on. Once the shoe is on and the gills return to their original non stretched position, you don't notice it at all ( as seen from photos ).

The stretch elastic runs between each gill to allow for stretch when putting the boot on. The leather around and stitching is not compromised in any way and does not take away from the overall beauty of the boot.

I believe that this is something that can be added back in again by a local shoe repair shop or maker, if preferred. I find it more comfortable with them opened.
