Discover the power of unity with 'The Border Crossed Us', a vital 2021 publication by Haymarket Books that explores the intersection of labor migration and systemic exploitation. This essential trade paperback sounds the alarm on how modern US capitalism has trans-nationalized to criminalize labor migration and perpetuate injustice. Ideal for activists, students, and labor leaders alike, this book articulates a clear framework for understanding the pressing need for immigration reform and the critical role of international solidarity. As a reaction to the growing xenophobia and racism in immigration policies, it provides compelling arguments for demilitarizing the US-Mexico border. Description:
The Border Crossed Us explains how US capitalism has trans-nationalized, criminalized labor migration, and how the movement for labor renewal begins with international solidarity and opening the border. For readers outraged by the xenophobia and racism of Trump 's immigration policy and confused by why US labor unions have been backwards on the issue of immigration reform, this book will explain how borders are used to increase exploitation within the capitalist system, and how labor and migrant solidarity movements can organize the social forces necessary to open the border. In a political moment when the fight against racism is growing and the hashtag #abolishICE trending this book will have broad appeal to a generation of activists looking for arguments about why we should demilitarize the US-Mexico border and organize with, not against, our brothers and sisters in other countries. Sales of Justin 's earlier book, No One Is Illegal, have continued to be strong and this is a welcome update and expansion on many of the topics covered there. It 's condensed size and readability makes it the perfect read for the activist, labor leaders, students and more who are looking for resources on how to build international solidarity.

High quality! I was shocked when we opened this.. it is very nice for the price and much less than a department store. Washed well and no shrinkage. Looks great, too!

Measure Carefully
Color: Champagne, Size: 12
Great quality, handsome style with a modern color, and fit. Just be aware if your little guy is smaller in stature the arms may be a bit long. Measure carefully.

Great little boy blazer
Color: Dark Blue, Size: 8, Color: Dark Blue, Size: 8
Too adorable and good quality. My picture doesn't do it justice. A nice dark blue with a subtle pattern. Will go well with many outfits. Fits well and not too snug with a shirt or light sweater underneath.

Long sleeves
Color: Dark Brown, Size: 14
Looks so good on my boy. I bought a little big (size 14 for my 11 year old) and turned the sleeves in a couple inches, which requires moving the buttons, but I think he might get a couple years wear as he is probably about to hit a height growth spurt. It doesn't look cheap - the material is thick enough to drape nicely.
