Peachy (ugly duckling)Dahlia Peachy a very tall Dahlia. Peachy is just that, PEACHY! Vivid and beautiful peachy toned blooms with hints of subtle gold tips although sometimes she throws quite a bit more of pink here. One of the original Dahlias that started my love affair (Cough* addiction). A ball like bloom and very tall plant here as well as a prolific bloomer she will always have a place here! • Position: Morning sun, afternoon shade is ideal 

• Paddock notes: Prolific bloomer. Strong, long stems. Perfect for cut flowers & arrangements. Very tall plant.

• Care: Dahlias require little care within the first few weeks - until the first 3-4 sets of leaves appear which can be a good time to pinch and commence watering. Watering requirements will vary pending your location - Overwatering can cause rot and loss of plant and potential tuber/s. Staking can aid in windy conditions and support the plant from weight of blooms, but isn’t essential - Regular deadheading and harvesting of mature blooms is ideal to combat breakage, remembering to sanitise your cutting tools between each plant to avoid spread of disease/virus is also good practice.
