Very rare first edition, in Italian and Arabic. Whilst the two states were preparing the celebrations of 60 years of their relations, these had to be predated by 100 years. Through Sotherans had been unearthed a very rare printed first-hand travelogue of Italians travelling in search of thoroughbred horses to Kuwait during the Italian Wars of Unification. Hasan Jasem Ashkanani contributes an article about Musizzano's Reminiscenze di un viaggio in Asia negli anni 1861-62 (Turin, 1863).
