The RAM-B-189-TAB17-ALA1-KRU is a complete RAM® dual suction mount for the Apple iPad Gen 1-4 in a case, popular as an aviation EFB (electronic flight bag) setup. FAQs

What does the retention knob do? It lets you loosen and re-aim the arm with the tablet still mounted, and stops the knob backing all the way off, which is handy in a cockpit or cab.

Will it hold on a curved windscreen? This flat dual base is for flat glass. For a curved surface, choose the articulating PIV1 version.
