Starting at its basis with an iconic double-cutaway body made of alder, this J Bass form is quickly recognizable and effortlessly playable. This choice of alder serves many purposes, yet predominantly carries a gentle weight and acts as a great sonic foundation for musical ideas to flourish. A Modern “C”-shaped maple neck joins the equation as a smooth connection to the player’s left hand. Across the palm, this neck wood and profile are effortless and slick for quick trips from higher to lower registers. A maple fingerboard meets up with this neck and measures with a 9.5” radius.
