When it comes to engine modification, allowing the engine to breathe freely is certainly near the top of the list. Integrated Engineering is proud to offer our direct-fit intake systems, which include all components to replace the restrictive factory airbox and filter with a high-flowing inlet pipe. These kits feature a generously sized velocity stack that not only increases air velocity, but allow for use of a larger filter.

The factory airbox works well for stock applications, but robs significant power from the engine when high performance is desired. The IE intake kit features a free-flowing design, which starts with the large cone air filter. Air is then drawn evenly through the filter as the engine breathes through the large velocity stack that it is mounted to. Making a smooth transition from the stack to the throttle body pipe, the air has little time to slow down as it is travels quickly through the throttle body and into your engine.

With just the IE intake kit and tune, you can expect up to a 9% increase of power, which is an additional 16hp and 16 ft/lbs of torque. This significant power increase makes a noticeable difference in driving, truly waking up the peppy VR6 engine. Along with the power increase, the deep growl of the narrow-angle 12V motor becomes audible.

To compliment your engine bay, the IE intake has been designed to fit perfectly in place of the airbox, with a stealthy appearance. The filter mount bracket and velocity stack are finished in a beautiful wrinkle black powdercoat finish, while the air filter is made from black rubber with gray filter material.

This kit is manufactured from high quality materials that will stand the test of time. The rigid mount bracket is made from 12 gauge steel, which provides the strength needed, but is still lightweight. The powdercoat finish is scratch resistant and will not fade. To make the connection between the MAF and velocity stack, we include a 4-ply reinforced silicone coupler.

Included with kit
The IE kit is sold complete with all clamps and hardware necessary for installation. We include a small breather filter to be used on the SAI pump in OBD1 applications.

Applications
This kit is designed to directly fit all OBD1 and OBD2 MK3 Golf/Jetta with the 12V VR6 engine.
