BD® Whitacre NRFit™ Spinal Needles
The BD® Whitacre NRFit™ Spinal Needles offer high reliability and safety thanks to their ISO 80369-6 compliant safety features. The unique pencil point needle with precision-formed side hole enables targeted delivery of the local anaesthetic, which reduces the risk of postdural puncture headache (PDPH).
BD® Whitacre needles produce a distinct tactile click or pop sound when the pencil point penetrates the dura, providing the user with clear feedback on correct placement. The transparent hub of the spinal needle allows for direct visualisation of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), further facilitating needle positioning and enhancing procedural safety.
