This all-new addition to the American Professional Classic line from Fender reimagines the Stratocaster and adds the all-new Fender Silent System – a patent pending, battery-free, passive system that eliminates single-coil hum – perfect for recording or stage performances!
This American Pro Classic Strat gets its signature double-cutaway shape from a contoured solid alder body – a timeless Fender tonewood known for its resonance, punch, and clarity. The body is finished in a vintage-inspired 3-Color Sunburst and is adorned with a 3-ply mint green guard, nickel/chrome hardware, and vintage white plastics. Mounted into the guard, you'll find a set of Fender Coastline '57 Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups. Sitting in the bridge, middle, and neck positions, these pickups offer authentic single-coil sound without the hum thanks to the Fender Silent System. Fans of the Greasebucket Tone System rejoice, it's still here – offering a well-rounded, balanced tone at all volumes without any treble loss. The control set features a 5-way selector switch, master volume, and 2 tone controls.
For its neck, a comfy 25.5-inch scale length Modern "C" satin maple neck is bolted to the body with 4 screws and offers great playability. The 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard is crowned with 22 medium jumbo frets, and is accented by white dot inlays. Vintage-inspired hardware like the 6-point tremolo bridge offers a stable and expressive place strings to be anchored before making their way to the ClassicGear Staggered tuning machines at the headstock. The Strat comes complete with a gig bag for protection on the go or for safe keeping at home.
