Description:
Cortec® MilCorr® VpCI® Shrink Film is a heavy duty rust inhibitor film with high ultraviolet (UV) light protection to maintain the integrity of the film as well as the parts packaged within. MilCorr® VpCI® Shrink Film can replace conventional rust preventatives such as oils and desiccants. Parts protected with MilCorr® are ready to use with no cleaning or degreasing necessary. Metal parts packaged in MilCorr® receive continuous protection against salt air and humid environments, moisture, aggressive industrial atmospheres, and dissimilar metal corrosion. The corrosion inhibitors vaporize and condense on all metal surfaces within the enclosed space, and diffuse to every area of your part; protecting its exterior as well as void spaces and recessed areas.

Size:
Available in two sizes: 20'x100' and 20'x210'. Film comes folded in a roll. Thickness is 10 mil (250 microns).

How to Use:
Make sure your item is clean and dry before packing. Measure and determine the amount of film needed allowing 12" overlap at seams. Lay out the film and place the item to protect on film. Pad sharp edges and corners and wrap the item with film. Use shrink tape to attach loose ends. Carefully apply heat with electric or propane heat gun and shrink film to desired fit. The UV protection makes this film suitable for outdoor storage and transit.

For metal protection of steel, solder, iron, aluminum, brass, copper, nickel. Use to prevent rust on military vehicles and equipment, export packaging of expensive large equipment and preservation of recreational vehicles such as boats and snowmobiles. Ideal for mothball preservation of industrial equipment.
