Il sel de Guèrande è un sale integrale proveniente dalle antichissime saline di Guérande che a sua volta è un comune situato nella zona nord-occidentale della Francia, nella regione chiamata Pays de la Loire. Il nome, in bretone Gwenrann, significa "paese bianco" in riferimento alle saline per cui non solo il comune di Guérande ma anche l'intera piccola penisola di cui è il cuore è famosa da tempi ancestrali. Il tipico colore grigio perla di questo sale marino alimenatare dipende dall'argilla in cui avviene il processo di cristallizzazione. E' un sale molto ricco di oligoelementi primo tra tutti il magnesio mentre nella sua composizione si trova poco sodio. Il sapore è delicato (meno salato rispetto ad altri sali marini naturali) e si caratterizza per leggere note floreali. Una curiosità: il re di Francia Luigi XIV voleva solo questo sale sulla sua tavola perché di esso amava il delicato retrogusto di violetta.

Get this oil for some shimmer and a splash of confidence.
