They're the tales that give you goose bumps andget your heart racing! Canadians love a good ghoststory, and there are plenty to be found across Canada. Many of these hair-raising stories are based onreal-life stories and people—people like Patrick Whelan, who was hanged for the 1868 assassination of Thomas D'Arcy McGee, a Father of Confederation. Some claim to have seen his ghost appear in his old jail cell at the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel, said to be one of the most haunted buildings in Canada. The former prison turned hostel is the setting for a fun ghost story that unfolds on this lenticular piece. Its first image sets the mood with an eerie evening tour of the former prison… but tilt the coin and suddenly, you'll encounter a ghost too! The two-image lenticular design by Emmanuel Julian Madail Monzon shows a ghostly encounter in one of Canada's most haunted buildings. The first image shows a visitor entering a former jail during an evening tour of the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel, where the bar door is left ajar. When the coin is tilted, the door is closed and the eerie ghost of a former inmate—perhaps Patrick Whelan, who was hanged for the 1868 assassination of Thomas D'Arcy McGee, aFather of Confederation—appears behind the terrified visitor and looks directly at the viewer. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Ottawa's former jail was built in 1862. Its 90 cells housed up to 150 prisoners at a time—men, women and children. It is said that the ghost of Patrick Whelan appears near guests' beds or in his cell at night. Some claim to have seen him wander the hallway that leads to the gallows, all the while reciting the Lord's Prayer—just as Whelan did in his final moments.Just before his execution, Whelan declared he was innocent but also claimed to know the identity of the killer.Today, the presumed murder weapon, a .32-calibre Smith & Wesson revolver, is part of the Canadian Museum of History collection. It was purchased at an auction in 2005 for the sum of $105,000.After the prison closed its doors in 1972, Hostelling International converted the building into a hostel. Much of the original structures (including the gallows) were left intact to provide guests with aunique stay. Daily tours allow visitors and gueststo learn about the building's history and itsmany strange occurrences… like the paranormal activity depicted on this coin.

·         Packaging:Your coin is packaged in a custom folder thatinvites you to enter the old jail… if you dare.

Cheap Replacement
These are an easy replacement for anyone who owns a BMW m52/m54 engine that has PCV issues. My car was burning about 1 quart every 1,000 miles. The parts are direct fit and install fairly easy. If there is resistance, lube the hole or o-ring up with some grease and it will slide in easier. Took me about 2 hours start to finish. My mechanic recommended that I remove the intake manifold to do the job. I don’t see how you could do it without removing the intake manifold. These parts probably won’t last as long as true BMW parts but on a 20 year old car I don’t see the benefit in using genuine BMW parts. Cheap stuff will suffice; worst case it doesn’t last quite as long.

NOT TOO HARD TO INSTALL...
This CCV kit seems adequate. People say that because the hoses supplied with these kits are more brittle than the genuine BMW parts, these are tough to install... But they're really not. The ends on these hoses SWIVEL and you can sort of eyeball which way you need the fitting to be pointing BEFORE you put them on your manifold... They swivel, but they're tight and it takes a little force to turn them. ALSO, a little dab of silicone gel or a spray of silicone out of the can, into the fittings on these makes a world of difference when clicking them on... For the price, I highly recommend the kit.

Great value
I recently had to replace the starter on my 2001 325i E46 with about 150k miles. While I had the intake off, I figured it would be a good time to replace the CCV because I was unsure if it had ever been done. My old CCV literally fell apart as I removed it, so I'm glad I replaced it. The new parts were a little tough to put together, but overall came together well enough. A lot can be forgiven for the price. I would recommend assembling the system before installing in your vehicle to get a good sense of how it all goes together and to hopefully loosen up the fittings just a tad before installation. 50skid on youtube has a great DIY for doing this job. I only finished this job yesterday, but my car has been running great. I can't yet confirm, but this may have solved my running lean problem.

Cheap plastic parts -- good fit
They are what they are: Cheap plastic parts. They fit, but long-term durability will be a challenge. Probably will buy from FCP Euro going forward (and just did for a fuel line replacement).
