ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Want to add power to your TV scenes? You need to learn how TV story scenes use the BEAT as their fundamental rhythm (there are 14-16 Beats in a half hour TV shows, and 28 in an hour long show). What's a Beat? A single Beat is, simply, just a dramatic moment in your story. But so many writers don't understand how to exploit and build a TV Beat (it's different from a movie 'scene'.) Each TV Beat lasts from one to five minutes. It's the whole 'escalator' of suspense in TV story. Understanding how each of these Beats work will make your script grab the audience hard, and keep them watching. The hidden pattern of the Beat lies in how you hook the audience through a rhythm. That's precisely what you'll get in this definitive webinar.

What's very cool about learning how to create a great Beat? Because if you can write one Beat of your story well, you can write almost any Beat well -- using the same tools to put conflict, electricity, and tension into the story. This webinar will show you the secrets that help the very best TV writers bring explosive power to their Beats. 'Do the Beat and do the show!' The webinar will be using examples from great current TV shows (like STRANGER THINGS, MR. ROBOT, PEAKY BLINDERS, THIS IS US, GOLIATH, MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, and many more)

Join famed Hollywood script doctor Peter Russell (peterrussellscriptdoctor.com), who has taught and inspired writers like Kor Adana (MR. ROBOT - Emmy for Best New Drama 2015), and Hal Ozsan (SONS OF ANARCHY). This information-rich, fast moving webinar will inspire you with Peter's signature visual style, while giving you the tools that keep your audience seduced on every page of your script. Peter says 'In TV, you've got to constantly keep your storyline taut -- far more so than in movies. TV story must interest the audience second by second -- another show is just a click away! So each Beat has to by like exploding cocaine and dynamite under their noses! And the timing of a Beat is getting quicker every year.'

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • The two characters you need in most TV Beats
  • The hidden structure that never varies in any Beat
  • Why each Beat is either a happy ending or a tragedy
  • Why creating suspense in TV is all about a tension-filled Beat
  • Why a Beat structure can help your individual scenes explode off the page
  • How the greatest writers of Beats achieve their effects
  • Examples of what NOT to put into your Beat
  • Putting the Beats together -- why each Beat has a (slightly) different job

NOt good... not great... horrible
Set name: Sublimation Printer
I’m thoroughly disappointed with the Brother Sublimation Printer and would not recommend it. Out of the box, the setup process was more complex than anticipated, with unclear instructions and frequent errors. The print quality was inconsistent, with colors often coming out dull or inaccurate, despite multiple attempts at calibration. I experienced frequent paper jams, which disrupted my workflow and wasted a lot of materials. The printer’s software is buggy and doesn’t integrate well with other design programs, making it frustrating to use. The connectivity options were unreliable, causing frequent disconnections and delays. Additionally, the printer is quite noisy during operation, which can be distracting and bothersome. The build quality feels flimsy and not as durable as I expected. The customer support experience was also poor, with slow response times and unhelpful solutions. I faced issues with ink usage, as the cartridges seemed to run out quickly, leading to higher operational costs. The sublimation prints didn’t have the sharp, vibrant quality I was hoping for, making my final products look less professional. The lack of clear troubleshooting guides added to the frustration. The printer’s design is bulky and takes up more space than I anticipated. Overall, this Brother Sublimation Printer has been a letdown in terms of performance, reliability, and ease of use. I regret investing in this product and would advise looking for alternatives.

Pretty good for the price.
Set name: Sublimation Printer
So far so good. I have been producing a fair amount of items to date. My only wish was that the colors were more vibrant with this printer and it's ink.

Inkjets have come a long way
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
Just a lot to like about this printer and nothing I don't like. Very capable for the price. I do mostly black and white printing, rarely print photos. (This will supposedly do a credible job of photo printing too but I haven't tried it). If you want professional caliber photo printing, you probably want the Epson 8550 which is similar to this, a bit more expensive, but does 6 color printing. If you are doing more like every day business printing the 15000 might be a better choice because it's built more for speed. The tank system means I can just replace the black because I use it a lot. The black ink tank is double size of the others and based on my experience so far, I think I'll easily get over a thousand pages on the standard-vivid setting which is very strong black but still relatively high speed printing. Given that the black ink bottles are under $30 I think the cost per page will be comparable to laser. The booklet/pamphlet printing can be complicated to work out with layers of PDF software and the Epson printer driver. But once you work it through, it's super capable. I've printed a lot of 12 x 18 double-sided for booklets and the paper handling has been flawless. (It can duplex automatically for 8 1/2 x 11 but for other sizes you have to manually duplex, which you can do by printing back/front or even/odd.) It's not as fast as a laser printer but it's pretty fast -- inkjets have improved so much.

Perfect Printer for My Small Business
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
I purchased the Epson ET-15000 for my crafting and apparel business and have been very pleased with its performance. The print quality is excellent, colors are vibrant, and the large ink tanks help save money over time. It handles larger print sizes with ease and has become an essential part of my workspace.

Nice large format printer which is what I needed
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
I make stained glass panels and needed a printer that I could make larger copies with. I also wanted one that I could manipulate my images with. This was my best option and I love the Eco-Tank printers. After reading the reviews I made sure to add a couple years of additional warranty for my peace of mind. Finding 13 x 19 paper that was affordable was a tough challenge. I found a bunch on FB marketplace and bought everything they had to offer. This printer was very easy to set-up. I just followed the instructions and then followed what was on my computer screen. At first I thought I would have an issue connecting to Wi-Fi but when it failed on the computer, I was able to go to the printer and do it from the control panel - Easy peesey. I have used it several times since filling, charging, and installing and everything works as it should. My husband has an Eco-Tank printer and I've wanted one since he got his. I love that the ink will last a very long time and that it will be cost efficient. I am not overly interested in photo printing so this was the perfect choice for my needs. The print quality is fairly good when comparing it to my old Canon and e that there are several paper trays and ways to make copies, especially the automatic feed and the larger scanner bed.
