This BDS 5.5" suspension lift kit takes your Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon 4WD to the next level, with clearance for up to 33" tires. Up front it uses top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4" steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets and HD skid plates, plus CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends for ESC compatibility, along with sway bar links, bump stop extensions and CV spacers. The rear runs a heavy duty fabricated lift block that retains ride quality and load capacity, new u-bolts. This kit ships with NX2 Nitro shocks: nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving.

  • Inner fender trimming is required.
  • Minor welding is required.
  • The electronically assisted power steering system is sensitive to out-of-round, unbalanced, and more aggressive tread pattern tires; high-speed steering wheel feedback can occur.
  • Actual ride height on Coil Over kits is closer to 6 inch of lift.
  • Stock 17 inch & 18 inch wheels cannot be reinstalled with the lift kit. Aftermarket 20 inch wheels with a maximum 5.25 inch backspacing are recommended; certain wheel and tire combinations require weld-on steering stops, which are included in the kit.
  • Will not fit ZR2 models.
  • Will fit diesel models.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
