This 256-page volume, published in 1905 during the second and final year of the Russo-Japanese War, features a plethora of photographs that are highly illustrated. These images were widely circulated in the United States, England, Europe, and Japan due to advanced technologies that allowed for efficient mass production. They serve as a prime example of the war photos that gained significant popularity. The book spine is in need of major repair and the edges of the cover and back are rather tattered. There is one page with a map that is torn in monstrous condition. Most of the pages have condition issues as well but the tattered condition doesn't distract from the photos. My father kept this book in a special place in our house. He was fascinated by it and the photos even though it is tattered. There is something very appealing about it.
