The 2016 Fender Duo Sonic is an updated but still faithful take on their original 1956 Duo Sonic. The body is formed to exact specifications of the first Duo Sonic model with the classic smaller slightly offset form. It includes pickup and wiring like the original with a 3 way switch and 2 Duo Sonic single coil pickups. Wiring setup also includes master volume and tone knobs. Modernizations of the Duo Sonic include a string through body Strat hardtail bridge with bent saddles, and a maple modern "C" profile neck. Unlike the very first 22" inch scale Duo Sonics, this model has a 24" inch scale with 22 frets.

This Duo Sonic is a Capri Orange gloss finish body with 3 ply mint guard and maple neck. The guitar came to us with a missing knob, so we replaced with two domed knurl knobs. The neck is straight and there is very light wear along the fretboard. There is one ding on the back lower bout, but otherwise very minimal wear overall.
