C3-EL43C Carburetor Tune-Up Kit

Key Features

  • Complete All-in-One Maintenance Solution: Includes a precision-calibrated carburetor, high-efficiency air filter, fuel line, fuel filter, and spark plug, providing everything needed for a full engine refresh in one package.
  • Optimized Fuel-Air Mixing: The C3-EL43C carburetor is engineered to deliver a precise fuel mixture, ensuring the high-torque performance required for heavy-duty concrete and masonry cutting.
  • Enhanced Filtration Protection: Features a high-capacity pleated air filter (578243401) designed to trap ultra-fine concrete dust and debris, significantly extending the life of the engine's cylinder and piston.
  • Ethanol-Resistant Components: The fuel lines and internal carburetor gaskets are manufactured from high-grade polymers that resist swelling and cracking when exposed to modern ethanol-blended fuels.
  • Reliable Ignition Spark: Includes a premium-grade spark plug with a heat range specifically matched for the high-operating temperatures of Husqvarna cutoff saws, ensuring consistent starts and smooth idling.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Carburetor: 510 18 12-02, 510181202, Zama C3-EL43C, C3-EL53.
  • Air Filter: 578 24 34-01, 578243401, 544 18 16-02, 544181602.
  • Spark Plug: NGK BPMR7A, Champion RCJ6Y.

Compatibility & Fitment

This tune-up kit is specifically designed for Husqvarna’s professional-grade power cutters produced after 2013. Key compatible models include:

  • Husqvarna K750: Fits 2013 and newer models (verify the carburetor style).
  • Husqvarna K760: Direct fit for the standard K760 and K760 II models.
  • Husqvarna K770: Compatible with the newest generation K770 cutoff saws.
  • Zama Platforms: Replaces Zama C3-EL43C and C3-EL53 series carburetors.
  • Note: Please ensure your saw utilizes the external primer bulb system and the pleated square air filter before ordering, as older legacy models may use a foam-only filter system.

When to Replace

  • Saw Won't Start or Hard Starting: The most common symptom; internal carburetor passages are clogged with dust or "varnished" fuel from the previous season.
  • Engine "Bogs Down" Under Load: The saw runs at idle but loses power or dies as soon as the blade hits the concrete, indicating a restricted high-speed fuel circuit.
  • Erratic Idle (Surging): The engine speed fluctuates or "hunts" at idle, often caused by an air leak in the fuel line or a dirty low-speed jet.
  • Visible Fuel Leaks: Gasoline is dripping from the air filter housing or the fuel lines have become brittle and cracked due to age.
  • Poor Fuel Economy/Black Smoke: The carburetor is running too "rich," wasting fuel and quickly fouling the spark plug with carbon deposits.

Installation Tips

  • Safety First: Ensure the saw is completely cool. CRITICAL: Work in a well-ventilated area and drain all remaining fuel from the tank before disconnecting any lines.
  • Dust Control: PRO TIP: Before removing the old carburetor, use compressed air to blow off the concrete dust from the exterior of the saw. You do not want dust entering the intake manifold during the swap.
  • Line Routing: Take a photo of the fuel and pulse line routing before removal. If the "In" and "Return" lines are swapped, the primer bulb will not function and the saw will not start.
  • Filter Pre-Check: Ensure the new air filter is seated perfectly in the housing. Even a small gap will allow concrete dust to bypass the filter and cause catastrophic engine failure within minutes.
  • Fine-Tuning: Most carburetors come pre-set. However, if the saw hesitates on acceleration, you may need a specialized splined tool to adjust the "H" (High) and "L" (Low) needles by 1/8th turn to match your local altitude and fuel type.

Really nice
This is a really nice buffer. The build quality is great. The body is nice and solid and the power cord is soft and flexible. The buffer has more than enough power. The accessories that come with it are good quality too. I would definitely recommend it.

Works great,not for heavy oxidation
This stuff works great, but it's best to grab (Awesome) spray, to use as a first step. The yellow oxidation melts away on contact, then rinse your headlights thoroughly with water and micro rag dry. Then use the wipes that come in the box to clean the headlights thoroughly again, rinse with water. Once thoroughly rinsed and dried, apply the UV clear coat with simple left to right or right to left strokes. Let it dry and enjoy.

Good for the effort and price.
This will _NOT_ make your lights look brand new! It will make them clear again. Or mostly clear if your lights are super bad. I had one old light and one new light on my car when I bought it. It drove me crazy walking by my car. I used this exactly per instructions other than I rubbed the crap out of my light. I got great results! Not perfect though. I got two clear headlights now. That is what I wanted. The finish is a little rough. This is to be EXPECTED since you are not using buffing compound. Use gloves. The finish looks like a light is a few years old now instead of 15 years old. It will not be can not make your light look new. Get the expensive kit if you want new look. My lights look close enough to not catch the eye. I am satisfied.
