Paolo Solari Bozzi was, at the age of 15, introduced by a fellow student at a boarding school in Venice to the world of black and white photography and to the darkroom. In 1982, Paolo obtained his Law Degree in Milan before working for 8 years as a lawyer followed by 20 years at an investment bank. When at university, he printed occasionally but early career demands got in the way. Around 2003, he started to devote his free time to printing and added the medium format to the Leica format. For 4 months in 2014, with his wife Antonella and their Land Rover TD5, Paolo travelled through Zambia, penetrating some of the lesser known areas of this fascinating country, including the remote Bangwelu swamps where the people had hardly ever come across a European visitor. Using mechanical medium format cameras and wide angle lenses, Paolo depicts, in about 120 black and white images printed in his own darkroom, some aspects of the lives of Zambians at work - be they fishermen, harvesters, road workers, miners or shop keepers, this without forgetting the innate beauty of a landscape captured in photographs taken from the air.

Works great on many different size cans
Works great on various size cans. It is a little larger that other openers, but seems very sturdy. It is a little loud and slow, but not a large concern. Very happy with it.

Stopped working after 3 months
It stopped working after 3 months.
The motor still runs the gear still turns. But it does not engage the can to cut.
I bought it for a post operative situation and I am glad that it worked when for the length of time it did but it's disappointing that I now have to throw this item away.

Meh.
Worked great the first couple of times it was used. But then it stopped cutting into the cans and does not open them. It causes the metal to fray off in small pieces which resulted in getting a piece of metal stuck in my finger for weeks so I don't recommend. It's also very loud.

Do Not Buy This Product.
this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work.
worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.
