Description:
Cortec® VpCI®-386 is a fast drying water-based acrylic one coat system (topcoat) that can be applied DTM (direct to metal) and provides corrosion protection in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered application. The complex mixture of non-toxic, organic inhibitors offers protection that competed with most paints and zinc-rich primers. Provides multi-metal protection. Excellent UV resistance. It is weldable and can be used to keep surfaces corrosion-free prior to welding. The clear coating lets easily determine the condition of the metal surfaces with simple visual inspection. 1000 hrs Humidity (ASTM D1748), 168 hrs Salt Spray (ASTM B117)

Packaging:

How to Use:
Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors, or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. Power agitate to uniform consistency. VpCI®-386 can be applied by spray, roll, brush or dip. Recommended DFT 1.5-3.0 mils. Full Cure 3-7 days.

VpCI®-386 is effective over a wide array of substrates; galvanized, carbon and stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, concrete, wood, plaster and masonry.
