This MS-00 model is constructed of a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The 12-fret style body features an open-pore, natural satin nitrocellulose finish with a charming Iced Tea Burst color. With this unique finish, players can truly take in the vintage aesthetic – tangibly and visually. The MS-00’s body construction continues with scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing to ensure stability and sustain in sound. A comfortable Indian rosewood fingerboard pairs with this guitar’s tonal character to inspire extended playing sessions.
A bolt-on mortise and tenon neck joint joins this Iris’s neck to its smaller-scale body. Where this completes the base assembly of the guitar, the distinguished details only go on. Appointments to this small-scaled wonder include tortoise body binding and a tortoise pickguard. Golden Age Relic Brass tuners with off-white buttons line the slotted headstock of this model for stability and accuracy in tuning.
