Description:
I pick a grain of her, stolen from the urn place it on my tongue. Her body. My blood. She lodges in me. Bereft after her grandmother's death, Krissy Kneen began writing these poems in an attempt to make sense of her loss. This powerful work offers a kaleidoscope of fitful dreams, tender memories and heart-struck musings that shine new light on our own mortality. 'Raw and exhilarating, Eating My Grandmother embodies the visceral paradox of grief.' Kristina Olsson 'At once exquisitely sensitive and blazing with wit and experimentation, Kneen re-imagines elegiac poetry.' Judges' Comments, Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize

Golden memories that form new ones
Format: Hardcover
The Little Golden books bring back memories of my adult children when they were young. So why would this great-grandma not begin a collection for her great-grand baby starting with her first-birthday? These books are excellent, never disappointing.

Little Golden Books Are Wonderful
Format: Hardcover
These books have been, and continue to be, the best books ever written for children. They teach life lessons in such a genteel way and the artwork is wonderful. I associate these books with my wonderful childhood. My mom read them to me all the time. I was glad I could purchase them as gifts to give to my friend so she could read them to her grandchild!

For Little Animal Lovers
Format: Hardcover
Adorable. Sweet little illustrations about each creature. The Kiddo's favorite page is the giraffe, because even a baby giraffe is so tall he has to kind of smoosh down to fit on the page of a book!
There is also a nice little story/nugget of information on each animal, so as they get older they still like to read the book because it is about behavior and they like to add more details!
A classic Little Golden Book, always great value.
