Magic healing ointment prescribed by dermatologists. I used to think it was just fancy Vaseline, but it has Chamomile and other natural nonirritating ingredients that feed the skin. Great product, and worth the extra cost. Especially good for cryogenic liquid nitrogen treatments by dermatology on precancerous lesions aftercare and surgical incisions. Soothing and not irritating. Wonderful product. Nothing like Vaseline.

I’ve started a nightly routine:
I apply it to my freshly cleaned feet (focusing on my heels and calluses) and put on socks. I then massage the rest into my hands, nails, and cuticles. You get immediate hydration and an instant healthy glow. The results the next morning are incredible—my feet are super soft, and my hands look like life has been breathed back into them.

Great Multipurpose Ointment & More Hygienic Than Vaseline

I love this Aquaphor Healing Ointment because it works for so many different things. I use it on my cracked heels, dry elbows, and chapped lips, and it helps keep my skin moisturized and protected.
One of my favorite things about this product is the squeezable tube packaging. Unlike Vaseline jars, I don’t have to keep dipping my fingers into it, which feels much more hygienic and convenient.
You also get a pretty generous amount, so the tube lasts a long time. Overall, this has become a staple in my skincare routine, and I would definitely recommend it.

Best For Preventing Scars

My dermatologist recommended this cream to me years ago, and it is the only one I have found that actually prevents scarring. It is very thick and has a horrible texture, but it is the best for moisturizing and scar prevention. It is just one of those creams that I think it is only great to use as a nighttime extra moisture cream. Just know that it is very thick and oily, and it does leave a bit of a film.

This Aquaphor ointment has been the best thing combined with the cotton white gloves for my dry and cracked fingers. In the winter or even when I am in the kitchen a lot and my hands are in the hard AZ water, this is a great treatment to help heal my skin and ease the discomfort. Just after one or two nights of using the two combined, my skin is renewed and healing.
