Texas Ash Bowl Blank TA-229 10" x 10" x 5" 9.2 lbs. This is a large bowl blank of Texas Ash, suitable for a bowl of approximately 10" diameter and 5" depth. This is a half-log blank with full bark on the back side, ready to be turned as either a conventional or natural-edge bowl. This bowl blank contains a nice crotch with attractive grain patterns associated with the branching. It does include some pith. There are some pith-associated cracks that you'll need to either avoid or stabilize. The bark is complete and is mostly tight, though at the edges you may wish to stabilize to ensure it is tight while turning. The best no show socks
The only no show socks I have ever found that do not slide down. These are very comfortable and the extra tab on the back provides comfort by keeping shoes from rubbing the back of your foot. The top of the sock also comes up high enough to cushion the top of your foot all while still remaining hidden while wearing tennis shoes or even with my hey dudes.
