This 2006 Fall LTD 914 is an excellent representation of what Taylor likes to acommplish with their combination of tonal woods. This beautiful 914 features a Solid Cedar Top, Cocobolo Back and Sides, an Ebony fingerboard/bridge & to tie it all together beautiful Albalony inlays and binding. The pairing of both Cedar & Cocobolo is one that is sure to please. The cocobolo Back/sides give more of a bright midrange tone and the cedar helps to mellow it out and give off a little bit more warmth with its projection.
Originally this guitar was built with no electronics system but the original customer decided to have the K&K Mini pickup system installed to help capture its essence when plugged in. No volume & tone control are included with this system so the sound board and guitar help to do all the work.
