This is the ultimate intake upgrade for the Audi RS4 and RS5 (B9). It flows 36% more than stock, reduces pressure drop, and improves linearization across the turbos. This directly translates to +19 AWHP and +17 AWFT-LBS of torque on top of our Stage 1 (93) tune making this a simple upgrade for more power you can feel.

Our system is a full upgrade as it replaces all of the intake components from the inlet scoop all the way to the turbo inlets. This is extremely important as focusing on the airbox alone does not address the main restrictions found in the factory intake system. Simply put, our system flows better than stock, makes more power, puts less strain on the turbochargers, looks sexy under the hood with the gorgeous carbon fiber design, and enhances the sound of the engine.

Features and Benefits

  • Full intake system: Inlet, airbox, filter, and inlet piping
  • +19 AWHP & +17 AWFT-LBS measured over stock (APR Stage 1 93)
  • Flows 36% more than stock
  • Reduced pressure drop at the turbo inlets
  • Improved linearization across the turbos
  • Enhanced engine sound
  • Carbon fiber construction
  • Turbos spool faster
  • Turbos operate more efficiently
  • Massive 7” x 7” filter with a 4” outlet and 5.5” frontal inlet
  • High flow and washable pleated cotton gauze filter material
  • Airbox has additional flow paths faced away from the engine
  • Inlet piping diameter is maximized from the 4” filter all the way to the turbochargers
  • Inlet piping addresses system restriction, unlike competitive airbox systems that are compatible with factory inlet piping
  • Billet turbo adapter rings make fitting this system to larger turbos possible
  • New OEM gaskets included
  • Emissions friendly

The factory turbocharger inlet pipe is a big restriction point because it’s small. It’s common for most intake systems to only focus on the filter and airbox, but doing so only has minimal impact on performance. Furthermore, upgrading the turbocharger inlet pipe only has minimal impact on performance if it still necks down to with the factory or aftermarket intake airbox. We solve this by making our pipe as large as possible from the 4” filter outlet all the way to the turbocharger inlets in one piece! This minimizes pressure drop and increases flow through the system far better than a multi-piece solutions.

Our system is made from carbon fiber and looks absolutely stunning under the hood. By using this material we are able to make the wall-thickness of the tubes smaller, maximizing the internal diameter, increasing performance even more! The material also allows us to make complex organic shapes necessary when working in a tight engine bay.

The airbox is fed from an inlet scoop that maximizes the flow path into the airbox. The airbox has cutouts allowing for additional flow paths directed away from the engine. This keeps air temps down, and increases sound without it being overbearing. The filter is massive as well. A big filter is desirable as increasing filtered surface area keeps the filter breathing easily for many miles as it filters dirt, dust, and particles. It measures 7” by 7” with a 5.5” frontal inlet, and a 4” outlet. The filter media is a washable pleated cotton gauze that can be cleaned for extended life, or replaced with ease.

Our kit includes everything you need to bolt on and go. No new tuning is needed to run this product, and the product is emissions friendly. We include all new OEM gaskets and all the nuts, bolts, and clamps needed for an easy install. Lastly, thanks to our billet turbo inlet adapters, this is the only intake you’ll ever need. Should you later upgrade your turbo, new, larger adapters can be installed to adapt to the larger inlets simply by swapping out the billet adapters!

The factory intake simply can’t match the performance of ours. The factory system flows a maximum of 484 CFM at 28” in of H2O. We improve this by 36% as our full intake system flows 658 CFM! We’ve reduced pressure drop across the system and improved linearization across the turbos. The turbos spool faster, and operate in a more efficient region of the compressor map. This directly translates to more power and torque you can feel. On our Stage 1 (93) RS5 we saw an improvement of 19 AWHP and 17 AWFT-LBS of torque simply by installing our intake system!

Good OEM replacement for Honda Pilot
Size: 7.5" x 8.7" x 1.4"
Simple cabin filter for my wife’s Honda Pilot. It fits well in the cabin air filter drawer. This is of similar quality to the original Honda one; just cheaper. I’ve bought this for my Subaru and have been happy with it as well.

Works great!
Size: 7.5" x 8.7" x 1.4"
This is a great filter for allergies and a huge help during allergy season. It traps fine dust and pollen much better than the standard paper filters you get from the dealership, resulting in noticeably cleaner air inside the cabin. The construction feels very solid, and it fit perfectly right into the housing without any issues. If you are looking for true HEPA filtration in your vehicle, this is definitely worth the upgrade!

Saved over $60 and felt like a DIY hero!
Size: 7.5" x 8.7" x 1.4"
I bought the BOSCH 6092C HEPA Cabin Air Filter after a tire/service center quoted $76 to do the same job I did in no time. Instead, I watched a quick YouTube video, grabbed a screwdriver, and had it swapped out in under 5 minutes—no sweat, no special tools. The filter itself is high quality, fits perfectly, and noticeably improved the air quality in my car. No weird smells, and the airflow feels cleaner and stronger. Honestly, it’s one of the easiest upgrades I’ve ever done. If you’re even slightly handy (or just tired of paying for basic service), this is a no-brainer. Great product, easy install, and a satisfying win for anyone who likes saving money and doing things themselves.

Great aftermarket filter
Size: 7.5" x 8.7" x 1.4"
Performance will be TBD but after a test air does smell a bit cleaner. It Fits a 2018 Subaru Impreza just like the OEM does. Material is significantly better as well. The only thing that will cause confusion is the arrow designation many are used to. The OEM will state which way the filter is to be oriented (up), and this aftermarket version designates which way airflow goes which is usually in the direction of the blower or engine bay (down). Keep that in mind. Otherwise, it’s so easy and such a good peace of mind maintenance item everyone should do and NEVER pay the dealer.

Works ok, but not perfect. Manage expectations.
Size: 7.5" x 8.7" x 1.4"
My goal was to reduce or eliminate bad particulate odors coming in from outside while driving, as drive through areas with high particulate pollution. Sure, recirc mode exists, but then cars fill up with CO2 quickly, and high concentrations of CO2 makes you drowsy and have slow reaction times, etc. So I looked into better cabin air filters. My Subaru has an easy-to-access cabin air filter. I learned how to properly change it via online videos, because the dealership wants over $50 just to change the filter, and it only takes a few minutes! The OEM filter I took out is not that good, and only meant for larger particulates, to protect the HVAC system. It reminded me of the cheaper (but not cheapest) furnace air handler filters. Placing this new filter in and testing it, it does block more airflow, which is to be expected from a finer filter. My car's blower has 7 running speeds (plus off), and I needed to turn it up one notch higher to get about the same airflow, versus the previous filter. The filter seems to work, somewhat. If behind a diesel truck, I still smell it. Same with cigarette smoke from a car in front. It doesn't block vape vapors at all, it seems. However, maybe I was expecting too much. The infographic for this filter clearly shows the size of particulate it can handle, which I appreciate very much. Diesel exhaust is a very fine particulate, smaller than this filter can filter. I also wonder if outside air is getting around the filter in the filter housing, since it just slides in, like a furnace air handler filter. It has a good fit though, in my car at least. What I need is an even finer filter, but that would likely block a lot more airflow. There are various manufacturers of high-end cabin air filters, but I don't know if they match or exceed the quality of this one.
