The Martin 0-X1E is an entry to intermediate level Martin Guitar. Styled after the company's 0-14 guitar, this concert body acoustic is made to be played and taken wherever inspiration takes the player.
This Martin is comprised of a High Pressure Laminate construction with mahogany pattern. HPL, for short, is a composite material that is not as susceptible to damage caused by humidity like a solid wood would be. Albeit a stray from the normal standard, HPL guitars are very durable and long lasting. The guitar's top still receives spruce bracing in a scalloped "X" pattern, contributing to the nevertheless present sound of a Martin guitar.
A High Pressure Laminate neck is fitted to the body with a Mortise and Tenon joint. Its bridge and fingerboard are crafted of FCS Certified Richlite, offering a sustainable substitute to African ebony with similar visual and tactile properties.
Electronics are also factory standard on the Martin 0-X1E, with the Fishman MX pickup system making this guitar live gig friendly and all the more flexible. A Martin Gig Bag is also included.
