This class is targeted towards students who are completely new to flameworking or students with some glass experience looking to increase their arsenal of skills.
In this class focusing on simple sculptural works, students will be taught the basics of borosilicate sculpting through various techniques to create stunning floral plant stakes! Perfect to decorate your potted plants or keep in a vase. Students will learn the basics of sculpting borosilicate glass, with the addition of many techniques such as; flame control, the use of puntils (glass handles), hot/cold seals and more.
Tools and materials are provided for the class.
No previous glass experience required.
Due to the nature of glass, students will have to return to pick up their finished pieces after they have been annealed.
