A rare pair of vintage Murano wall sconces by La Murrina, in the style of Tommaso Barbi. They are designed in the shape of a large leaf with gold inclusions that beautifully diffuse the light. Elegantly supported by satinized brass holders and wall mounts, each leaf has a maker's mark. Perfect in a hallway, bedroom or a living room. Sold as a pair.

Found in Lombardia.

Condition: Very good. These wall sconces are in very good vintage condition. There is some minimal patina and wear to the brass structures. The glass leaves are intact but one of the glass leaves has some chips along the rim around the light bulb (see detailed images). The light is in working order with its original wiring, not tested. Mounted flush with the wall for a seamless finish. The glass comes off from the brass support for easy installation. Fits an E27 bulb.

Powerful mixer, and the company stands behind the product
I've had a few of these mixers from other companies and they broke quickly and then couldn't even get a response when contacting the company. However, when I had an issue with this one Typhur responded immediately and totally resolved the issue. Good to know that the company stands by their products. This particular unit is more powerful than the other ones I've owned and really works well through thick mixes, with little stalling. The one-button operation, from the top, is naturally suited to the task. Another one I owned had the speed buttons on the side and it was pretty awkward when you're in the middle of mixing something. Since I use Eneloop Pro rechargeable batteries I don't have to worry about setting it up near a socket to plug in a USB cable. My counter top is crowded enough as it is.
