One of Marshall's first 21st century low watt offerings, the Class 5 head delivers Marshall crunch at an affordable price - with volume friendliness as this head's key feature. The Class 5 is designed to deliver the sound of a larger 4x12 Marshall rig at lower volumes. We have five watts driven by a single EL84 power tube - not the conventional power tube for a Marshall by any sense, but EL84s have quick response and power hot at low wattages. Onboard controls are for volume, bass, middle, and treble - and this particular Class 5 features a master volume installed by its original owner. On the back are two speaker outs - one for 8 and one for 16 Ohms - and a headphone out. The Class 5 can be selected to either run speakers or headphones with bypassed speakers.

This head is in very good condition with some minor tolex separation at the front top right and back bottom left corners.
