The offset, double-cutaway shape is easily handled and slides smoothly into the arms of any player to pick it up. In addition to its smaller scale and easy handling, this alder offset produces a flexible and sturdy sonic springboard off which great single-coil tonality can fly. This model’s Modern “C”-shaped maple neck enters the formula and slides easily across the palm for easy travels up and down the full thirty-inch scale length. A slab rosewood fingerboard meets up with this maple neck and is adorned with nineteen Medium Jumbo frets and a 9.5” radius measurement, ensuring effortless fretting and streamlined performance. Tonally, this bass comes to life with the addition of a Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge position and a Player Series Alnico 5 split single-coil Precision Bass pickup in the middle position.
