EDGE, Arthur Bernard Broughton and Thomas Howell LABY (editors). The Principles & Practice of Geophysical Prospecting. Being the Report of the Imperial Geophysical Experimental Survey. Cambridge: The University Press, 1931.

4to (277 x 210mm). Original maroon cloth, spine lettered and decorated in gilt; pp. [2 (blank l.)], xiii, [1 (blank)], 372; frontispiece map after D.F. McGregor, 8 plates, 7 folding, 6 bound to throw clear, illustrations, diagrams, and maps, some full-page, and letterpress tables in the text; cloth slightly discolored and a little rubbed at extremities, corners lightly bumped, very occasional light marking, otherwise a very good, internally-fresh copy.

First edition. This work records the findings of the Imperial Geophysical Experimental Survey, which experimented with a number of surveying techniques in various areas throughout Australia; as Sir David Rivett (the Chairman of the Australian Geophysical Executive Committee) states in his preface, 'The object was not to prospect for minerals but to test the applicability of various geophysical methods under field conditions in Australia which, it was considered, might be regarded as fairly characteristic of considerable portions of the British Empire'.

Provenance: Jones, Yarrell & Co., London (bookseller's ticket on lower pastedown) -- 'Ex RS 7/3/44 17/6' (inscription on upper pastedown, presumably recording gift to:) -- The Royal Institution (discreet blindstamp on title).

Aún no los eh probado pero tienen muy buena pinta y en las primeras impresiones se sienten muy bien en los pies además que me encantan que sean de un modelo que no necesitan estar teniendo que atar los cordones

Poor quality control… Received a used pair
Size: 12, Color: Birch Beige/Farro/Ivory, Size: 12, Color: Birch Beige/Farro/Ivory
The shoes that were delivered showed signs of wear. Not sure if this was a used pair or a display pair but this should have been caught from the beginning. I would normally return them, but will be out of the country for the next month and don’t have the time. Unacceptable quality control from the official cole haan store front.
