Bloodsweat is the much anticipated follow up to Whittier, CA band's debut album Free to Eat, which was cited by LA Weekly as "punkish dark rock that makes you want to dance and destroy everything around you." The songs on Bloodsweat were heavily road-tested before ever making it into the studio. During the recording process, they aimed to capture each track in as few takes as possible, avoiding many overdubs and embracing the same edgy production they bring to their live performances. Add to this the masterful mixing by Alan Moulder, who has mixed iconic records from Royal Blood, Nine Inch Nails, Foals, and The Killers to name a few.

Great Skin Conditioner

I ordered the unscented, and it is truly unscented. It is solid, but by rubbing you finger around the top of the tallow, it immediately begins softening and melting. I used too much the first time, as it leaves a sticky/tacky film on the skin, so as the instructions say, a little goes a long way. Even though the next time I was careful to use very little, I do think it leaves a little tacky and greasy feeling, but it does soften and protect the skin. My only complaint is that due to the size of the jar, and if you have long fingernails, you can't just rub your finger on top of the tallow without getting it all under your fingernails. I'd like the jar to be changed to a short wide mouth vessel, hence only a 4 star rating.
