Here at Left Field we have never seen a more unique and beautiful denim in my 25 years. The slub yarns vary in thickness, with some individual yarns going thick to thin thru out the individual yarn similar to a hand spun Khadi yarn.  The effect of the slub denims in the warp create a look that they refer to as"falling rain"  The denim is a Hank Dyed natural  plant dyed Indigo. In order to Hank Dye denim, a master craftsman dips the yarn skein into a vat of Natural Indigo and hand twist the Indigo deep into the yarn core. The nature of this process produces yarns with varying depths of Indigo Hues giving it a subtle variegated indigo warp. This denim is dyed in the most famous Indigo dying center in Japan, Tokushima Prefecture.

Indigo dyeing in Tokushima Prefecture developed in the climate of the Yoshino River basin.

The Yoshino River is one of the three most rampaging rivers in Japan, and is called " Saburo Shikoku " along with Taro Bando and Jiro Chikushi . Every flood brought fertile soil that was suitable for the cultivation of indigo , making it a major production area.

Thanks to the encouragement of Yoshishige Hachisuka , the first lord of the Tokushima Domain in Awa Province , the production of indigo was at its peak during the Edo period. Because of its high quality, Awa indigo is called “ Sho-ai ” and other indigo is called “ Ji-ai ”, and has been prized all over the country. In Tokushima, there are a few remaining facilities that tell the story of the achievements of the indigo merchants of that time.

This is a loomstate denim ie nonsanforized and it is "Dry Clean only"  in order to prevent further shrinking. We will not accept returns for washed jeans and will confirm acknowledgement before shipping. Also noted the inseam and rise shrunk up a little more than excepted after cutting so this will be a lower rise Greaser. We will have a longer rise coming early January if you prefer that. This is our first limited run of 18 pairs of jeans from this mill but have many more beautiful artisan level denims coming next year. There is a very limited amount of denim made by this factory and it is done in small batches so it takes a very long time to make as well as limited amount of shuttle looms that can handle the character of this denim.

They are running 1 inch smaller in the waist band so size up one inch ie if you're a 33 order 34. . Size up two for more relaxed comfort as this denim has a longer break in period due to the rigidity  and character of the denim.

Left Field jeans and chinos are not vanity sized. Please check the measurement table below before ordering.

Kinda of a cool gadget
Color: Cool White
I really didn't know I needed this until I got it! Easy and quick to recharge batteries (they do not come with rechargeable batteries). Put out enough light for an evening outside around the table

Love the Warm Glow!
Color: Warm White
This light is very easy to install and has 3 different lighting options. I love the warm white light it emits as opposed to a bright white light that could attract bugs at night. Perfect light for patio, deck, camping, golf cart, etc!

It feels cheap and works just okay
This product just feels like it was made on the bottom dollar. It is very cheaply made and the doors to the battery compartment are so fragile it feels like they may snap next time I have to change the batteries. There's absolutely no weather proofing so I wouldn't leave it outside in the rain or heat. That being said, it's fine. It stays put on our umbrella and puts out light, albeit not much light.

Functional and easy to install!
Color: Cool White
This umbrella light is super handy! It hinges open to allow installation around the umbrella pole, so you don’t have to remove umbrella from table to add the light. I like that it can be charged with included USB cord or can use regular batteries. The different light settings are also nice depending on how much light you need or want at the time. We’ll be using this quite often when sitting at the table by the pool this summer.

Easy to use
I love these. Not only do they work at reducing any blemish size and inflammation, they are practically invisible like advertised.
