🇯🇵 1987 Ibanez Roadstar II Series RG200 – Made in Japan

A standout example of late-80s Japanese build quality, this 1987 Ibanez Roadstar II RG200 comes from a period where Fujigen production was at its peak — the same factory behind the highly regarded JV-era Fender instruments.

The Roadstar II series sits right at the origin of what would become the RG line, and you can feel that evolution here. It takes the familiar “Strat-style” platform and pushes it further — tighter, brighter, and more articulate.

This one is fitted with an HSS configuration featuring Ibanez pickups, including a coil-tapped humbucker and two single coils. The result is a wide tonal range — from clear, bell-like cleans through to sharper, more aggressive tones when needed. The coil tap adds extra flexibility, giving you that single-coil snap on demand.

Construction includes a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. The neck is slim, fast and very easy to get along with — exactly what these are known for.

🔧 Condition

As expected for a 1987 instrument, there are visible signs of use:

• Chips and marks around the body, including a more noticeable chip to the edge

• General play wear across the finish

• Tarnishing to the bridge hardware

• Neck plate showing age-related patina

All cosmetic only — no structural issues, no repairs.

Frets are in excellent condition, and it’s been freshly restrung and set up. Plays cleanly and feels great in hand.

Please remember this guitar is almost 40th old!

My Designs? Sublime. The Paper? Sublimation Perfection.
Size: 8.5"X11"
Prints clear, presses clean, and never lets me down—unless I’m the problem (which is often). I keep this stocked like toilet paper. You don’t want to run out mid-project.

Great Quality
Size: 8.5"X11"
This A-SUB sublimation paper is a great quality. I have been using it for many years and have had absolutely no issues. I use it with an Epson 2780 inkjet printer. I have never had a jamming issue or smudging.

Happy to find a seller that carries the 120
Size: 8.5"X11"
I’ve been doing sublimation since May 2025. I have tried a variety between 105, 120 and 125. I’m not exactly sure why 120 ASub it is becoming harder to find . I absolutely love it. When I make my stainless steel tumblers, my colors pop more with 120.
