APR's Big Brake Kit Upgrades are ultra-durable, feature-packed solutions specifically tailored to each vehicle. The brakes provide outstanding stopping-power at an affordable price and are targeted towards a wide operating range, such as normal spirited street driving, track days, and HPDE events. All of the systems handily out-brake, out-last, and out-perform many systems on the market with ease. They obliterate massive factory brake systems, such as those found on the Audi RS3. Simply put, few can come close to matching the features and price point we offer with our systems. Whereas most systems on the market either make heavy sacrifices to either look fancy, cut weight, or cut costs, the APR system is designed to simply brake better, last longer, and stand the test of time.

Included Pads High-Performance Street Pads Details:

Specifically designed for use in high-performance street applications and one of the best high-performance street pads on the world market at the moment. This compound beds-in quickly and delivers strong brake performance over a wide temperature range. The material exhibits a strong initial bite as you engage the brake pedal followed by a slightly rising torque curve during a single brake application. This slight rise in brake torque in the mid-late stages of a brake application makes use of the additional front tire grip available after weight transfer has occurred during a typical (medium-hard) brake application. This delivers optimal stopping distances when tested on street cars running high-performance street tires. The compound features a high average friction coefficient and delivers reduced stopping distances as well as improved fade resistance when compared to most OEM and aftermarket high-performance street pads.

- Optimal temperature range: 0-500 deg C (0-932 deg F)
- Best choice for most high-performance street applications
- Included pad not recommended for track day use at all (Please Note: Street/Track and Track Only pads are available)

Features:

  • Large six-piston, billet-aluminum calipers with high-tensile cross-bolts for maximum rigidity
  • Larger, wider 380x34mm floating 2-piece rotor assemblies with high-density directional cooling vanes and billet aluminum hats
  • Rotor slot pattern specifically designed to evenly distribute heat across the rotor surface and increase initial brake response (bite) while maintaining quiet, smooth operation over a wide application range
  • Rotors are coated with a proprietary black, anti-contamination finish ensuring that no oils are transferred to the brake pads
  • Billet-aluminum caliper mounting brackets featuring stainless steel thread inserts for the radial mount bolts to ensure maximum durability
  • Stainless-steel braided-Teflon brake lines
  • Proprietary high-performance street pads included in a standard replacement shape (optional pads available)
  • Lighter than factory brakes, but not so light as to introduce excessive NVH (Noise, vibration, harshness), which can occur with ultra-lightweight brake kits
  • Extreme UV & temperature resistant European anodizing dyes for best color retention
  • Hand-polished, mirror-finished, stainless steel pistons which reduce the rate of heat transfer to the caliper seals and brake fluid by a factor of 10 when compared to the aluminum pistons found in many other calipers
  • Ultra-high temperature and pressure internal wiper seals. The internal wiper seals ensure best service life under daily street driving conditions and will also not be damaged during track day use (as is the case with the external dust boots used in many o
  • All stainless-steel hardware for long-term durability and corrosion resistance
  • Seamless CuNi fluid crossover tubes for maximum corrosion and vibration resistance
  • Pad pre-tensioning system designed to reduce brake noise and squeal
  • Maximum Temperature Recording (MTR) devices on calipers and rotors
  • Laser etched logos which will not be damaged by brake fluid, or solvents (as is the case with the painted logos often used on aftermarket calipers)
  • Designed, engineered, and manufactured in South Africa by the experts at Powerbrake

Heavy-Duty Dutch Oven That Easily Feeds a Big Family
Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay, Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay
I am extremely impressed with this Amazon Basics enameled cast iron Dutch oven. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was how substantial and heavy it feels, which immediately gave me confidence in the quality. The clay color is beautiful and looks even better in person, and the enamel finish is smooth and well done. I have a large family, so I needed something with plenty of capacity, and this 6-quart size has been perfect for big batches of soup, chili, pot roast, and homemade pasta sauce. It heats evenly, retains heat exceptionally well, and keeps food warm for a long time after cooking. The lid fits securely and helps lock in moisture, which made a recent pot roast come out incredibly tender after several hours of slow cooking. The wide handles make it easy to move from the stovetop to the oven, and despite the weight, it feels very sturdy and well balanced. Packaging was excellent and everything arrived in great condition. Considering the quality, performance, and attractive design, this Dutch oven offers outstanding value for the price. If you're looking for a durable cast iron pot that can handle family-sized meals and perform like much more expensive brands, this one is an easy recommendation.

Quality Baking, Not Just For Meat Anymore
Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay, Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay
Since my wife is an avid sourdough baker, requesting this Dutch oven was an easy decision. From the moment I unboxed it, the first thing I noticed was the substantial weight—a testament to its high-quality cast iron core. Beyond its heft, the Dutch oven features a beautifully smooth finish on the interior and exterior that makes it look as good as it performs. My wife has already put it to the test with two loaves of sourdough. While the first loaf browned a bit too much on the bottom, the second attempt turned out absolutely perfect, proving that it just takes a little practice to dial in the heat distribution. I am confident we won’t limit this piece to just bread baking; I can already imagine a delicious chicken or pot roast in its future. If you are looking for a top-tier cooking utensil, you really can’t do much better than this. It is exceptionally well-made and expertly finished. Whether you are a dedicated baker or looking to cook up a perfectly tender roast, you will be doing yourself a favor by adding this Dutch oven to your kitchen collection.

You could pay a lot more, but why would you?
Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Linen Gray
Technically, this is a French oven, which is enameled. A Dutch oven is bare cast iron. I like these mainly for baking bread. The French oven traps the moisture coming out of the bread, and converts it to steam, which is essential for a good crust. (Search 'Jenny Can Cook no knead bread' for a recipe that is so simple and effective and forgiving that you will find it hard to believe it works, even after you've done it dozens of times.) Long ago, I got a Le Creuset just like this, for about 10 times the price. I worked like crazy to keep it looking like new, but before too long, it looked like something from Goodwill. As a test, I just made two loaves of bread, one in the Le Creuset, one in this, and I could not tell the difference. It may be that down the line, the Amazon Basics will crack, or sustain some damage to the enamel, or something like that. But I could replace it 9 times before spending as much as I spent on the Le Creuset! As far as I can tell, you're getting the same quality, without paying for the name. Why wouldn't you do that?

Very nice cast iron, enamel coated Dutch Oven! Good price too.
Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay, Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Clay
Very nice cast iron, enamel coated Dutch Oven! Although this is an Amazon Basics product, there isn't anything basic at all about it - heavy weight, evenly distributed enamel color, nice alignment between lid and body and dimpled under lid lining (which is normally on more expensive pots). The dimples under the lid are designed to help "self-baste" when cooking roasts, etc. The steam and liquid produced while cooking wraps around inside the lid and each of the dimples drips the liquid back into the dish evenly. I have a more expensive pot with this feature, but none of my cheaper ones have it. My first cook in the pot (small roast w/vegetables) turned out great, with minimal staining. After cooking, the cleanup was a snap with no issues getting it pristine. I do know after extended use (experience with my other pots) there may be some darkening of the interior enamel or some "seasoning stains", but that's to be expected. Overall a really nice pot for the price...should last a long time and be a trusted piece of cookware.

Has some casting/finish imperfections, but functions well...
    Size: 6.0 Qt, Color: Olive
I had been shopping for an enameled cast iron pot for a while when I saw this one, so I thought I'd check it out and see whether it was comparable in quality to the ones I'd looked at. The exterior of this Chinese-made Amazon Basics Cast Iron Dutch Oven is a lovely subtle green enamel, and the inside is warm cream color: I do love the color. In the particular pot I received, though there are some irregularities in the casting of the cast iron itself, though, leading to an uneven/pitted interior surface in places, which is both visually obvious and easy to feel when running one's fingers over it. There were also a couple little rust spots in the exposed bit of cast iron at the rim of the pot, easy enough to fix but something that suggests this pot was stored in a more damp/humid location. I'm picky about my cookware, so I found the uneven interior surface flaws disappointing and have a few concerns about how easy the pitted area will be to clean. That being said, the pot does heat well and evenly and performs as one would expect a cast iron Dutch oven: I made a roast and then stew in this pot, and both meals came out well. So while this cast iron covered pot doesn't match the quality of the ones I'd previously looked at, the retail price point is also lower, so this might be a good entry-level cast iron enameled pot for someone who doesn't mind a few finish imperfections.
